Training Week 6 Recap

Monday again? The weekends always fly faster than the weekdays!

Things have been pretty silent in my neck of the woods lately, so I really laid low on the blog scene last week. Today is my last "first" day of school ever. I am beyond excited! Finishing college has been on my to-do list for a while. I have only 3 classes this semester, but they still seem like they may be a handful. I will do my best to keep up with weekly updates, but with the BF and my current living situation, blogging won't be at the top of my priority list.

Training Week 6

Monday: 3 mile run
Tuesday: Lift and 5 miles on bike
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Rest
Friday: 2 mile run and 5 miles on bike
Saturday: 7 mile long run
Sunday: rest (light swimming)

Standard workouts most days. I didn't get my second strength workout in. I had planned to do my entire long run outside, but a late start forced my butt inside onto the treadmill. There was so aching in my right knee, so I am taking this week with a grain of salt. I was initially disappointed with my time on Saturday (7 in 1:37), but then I found this quote.

I am keeping this quote in mind for all my runs!

And this is what I am keeping in mind for all around balance!

Janetha shared the link to a tumblr last week, and now I am obsessed! Serious motivation!

  1. I love that quote! I'm so going to keep it in my head for every run...when I make it out on a run, that is :)
